Art & Culture

The Indian Cultural Association (ICA) was organized to share Indian culture with our community to help preserve its culture and traditions, to pass on our art and cultural heritage to the next generation. It is also our broader goal to unite our diverse communities regardless of origin, faith, or the other differences which often separate us. We do this by the unifying nature of Indian culture.

ICA brings communities together by celebrating Indian culture. Not just its majesty and its ancient ways but its peaceful qualities. Its expression in art and society. Maryland is a vibrant representation of the numerous cultures and religions from around the world. We are diverse, multi-ethnic with an inclusive and vibrant Indian community.

India is diverse in its culture, its language, dance, and its food.  ICA promotes the vibrant culture and heritage of India through various cultural, social, civic and other activities.  ICA also focuses on SEVA and
engage in activities designed to better our community through programing focused on serving the most vulnerable in our communities.

Our organization is supported by volunteers from local businesses, medical and other professionals. If you would like to join and volunteer, send us an email to team@ICAHoward.org.
