The ICA Youth Leadership Council is a group of young passionate individuals who represent Howard County’s Youth. ICA’s Youth Leadership Council will be composed of 12-14 dynamic youth leaders who envision, develop and implement upcoming events, activities, and services. As leaders in their communities, council members will develop and execute strategies to advocate for the Howard County youth.

Being a member of the Council requires commitment but it also teaches important leadership skills (a great thing to put on résumés or college applications). More importantly, it gives members a chance to be creative and see how their actions bring about change in their community!

What can you expect as a member of ICA’s Youth Leadership Council?

• Hard work, excitement, and fun…all while making a difference!
• To share your experience and perspective.
• To gain information and skills that you will be able to capitalize on throughout your school and work careers.

Youth aged 14-22 who are eager to develop leadership skills are strongly encouraged to apply!
